How much does TaskTango cost me as a homeowner?

Nothing. Submitting a request, comparing professionals and messaging them is free for homeowners. Service professionals pay a per-lead fee to receive your request. You pay the professional you hire directly, at the price the two of you agree on — TaskTango never takes a cut of the job.

How many professionals will contact me?

Up to four. Every shared request is capped at four professionals, and each decides independently whether to reach out. Some requests get fewer responses — we're an early-stage marketplace, so in a brand-new area you may hear from one or two businesses rather than four.

What do you do with my information?

Your project details are shown to professionals who serve your ZIP code and offer that service. Your phone number and email are released only to the professionals who take on your request. We don't sell your information to unrelated advertisers. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Which areas do you cover?

TaskTango is currently live in Goodyear, AZ · Avondale, AZ · Buckeye, AZ · Surprise, AZ. We're a founding-stage marketplace, so we're deliberately launching one area at a time. If your ZIP code isn't covered yet, the request form will offer a waitlist signup instead — we'll email you as soon as we open there.

How do you verify professionals?

Badges appear only for license and insurance documents a business has submitted and we have reviewed. We don't display a badge we haven't checked. Ratings pulled from outside sources are always labeled with their source and never merged into a TaskTango score. Verification is a document check, not a guarantee of workmanship — always confirm licensing and insurance directly before work begins.

What if a job goes wrong?

Your contract for the work is between you and the professional you hire, so start by raising it with them directly and in writing. If that doesn't resolve it, email support@tasktango.com with your request details and what happened. We can't arbitrate a contract dispute or guarantee work, but we do investigate complaints and remove businesses from the marketplace when a pattern emerges. For licensed trades, your state contractor licensing board is also a route for formal complaints.
